Most passengers get information about public transport departure times from Internet

An absolute majority of passengers consider the Internet as the most convenient and appropriate source of information about public transport departure times. It is evidenced by the results of the monthly opinion poll carried out on the website of "Rīgas satiksme".

85% of respondents said they go to the Internet to see public transport departure times from stops, but 8% said they regularly consult timetables at public transport stops.

Only 5% of respondents said that they usually do not follow public transport schedules, but just go to a public transport stop and wait.

2% of respondents have used QR codes in the first month folloowing their introduction to get to know public transport departure times.

The opinion poll, which was held in July 2013, involved more than 900 "Rīgas satiksme" website visitors.
